Fashion Design Drawing - Inquiry - Hobbies

IALT: create different types of clothing.

Today I will be blogging about our topic for inquiry. Our topic is 'Hobbies' for this term our teacher has told each and everyone of us to pick an hobby, the hobby I choose was Fashion design drawing. I am in a group of 2 and there names are Bianna and Faith. What we do is design dresses or other kinds of clothing,  we try and make differents styles and also different materials to make them.

Helen & Owyn - Food from Plants & Animal - T2W5 2017

WALT: work with buddy's about healthy living.

Today I will be blogging about what me and my buddy Owyn done for Buddy time at school yesterday. Tuesday 30th May, what we had to do was create a Google Drawing and write down a list of food that come from Plants and from Animals.

What my buddy learnt was that eggs were from the animal the Cow. What I learnt was that my buddy could list a lot of different foods from plants and also from animals.

What I enjoyed was getting to know what my buddy knows and what he likes to eat.

I had a lot of fun with my buddy yesterday and I enjoyed learning more about him as well.

That Sugar Film Part 1 - T2W5 2017

IALT: reflect on what we are learning about different sugar.

Today I am going to blog about the slides I have finished from the task my teacher has given us (Rm 9.) The name of the task was "That Sugar Film Part 1." What I learnt was what is Refined Sugar, Refined Sugar is from sugar canes or from sugar beets as well. I enjoyed learning new things about the different types of sugar. Down below will be the photos of what slides I have finished.

 What I did on this slide was to explain what is refined sugar, and what I found out was that refined sugar come from sugar beets or sugar canes.

 On this slide I had to write how many teaspoons a day should Damon need to eat? So I said 40 tsp because if he eats more than 40 tsp he would fell sick.

Also on this slide I had to write down what the 4 different types of sugars are there.

LJ & Helen - Food Pyamid - Food in my Culture- Samoa - T2W3 2017

WALT: explain our health and percent in our cultural food.

Hi, today I am going to blog about LJ and I "Food Pyramid - Food in our Culture." What I learnt from this task for Inquiry was that all the fruits from our culture Samoa has a lot of sugar and sweets that we should not have eaten because it isn't good for your body.
What I enjoyed from this task was when we got to add our cultural food and fruits onto our Google Drawing to show what we eat and drink.
What found challenging was trying to find which places to put each photo for how many we should eat or should not eat.
What I learnt from this was knowing how much sugar and salt is in the food my culture eats.

Vegetable Whare Tapa Wha - T2W2/W3 2017

WALT: reflect on what the topic is for Inquiry.

What I enjoyed about this task was when we had the time to create our own edible Veggies and Fruit Whare Tapa Wha.
What I found challenging was when we had to make our Whare Tapa Wha stand up straight.
What I learnt from this task was to help each other out and to try even though it is not working.
