🔎WALT: explain different shortcuts on a chromebook.🔎

Greetings to you all, I am going to blog about our Digital Dig presentation. This presentation is about different types of ways to do different shortcuts. 

What I found challenging was trying to find a video that is linked to the word "Cybersmart." But as I was looking through and typing in cybersmart videos I found a perfect one on about passwords to keep them safe. Also I found taking a photos slightly tilting my head on the side was a bit difficult because I normally keep my head right in the middle.

What I enjoyed about this task was learning different shortcuts on our netbooks/chromebooks. 

Here are 2 examples about shortcuts: 1.) CTRL + A: selects your whole text you wrote and the second on is: CTRL + T: this makes a new tab.

Learning about EXPLANATION WRITING

✍🤔WALT: plan for writing.✍🤔

As we were learning about explanation writing last week and the past few days  this week has given me a lot to write about. What I learnt about explanation writing is that it means to explain what we are writing about and that you need a clear title such as: How to drive a car. What I really enjoyed about this writing was learning how to use explanation writing and I enjoyed learning a writing subject that I have never heard before. But as I was listening for what a explanation writing was, I thought about what kind of stories or things to write about. But we were given a topic, the topic "How can we show Manaakitanga to our environment?"

What we used was a planning paper that is on the right side of this post and we had to have 1-2 ideas for how we can show Manaakitanga to our TAMAKI environment. Also we had to break the 2 Ideas into 3 sorts of ways to share it around to keep our environment safe and sound. Also we had to write how to explain how we could and write an example for how we should do it. Also at the end at the conclusion part we had to write down our broken down 3 ideas in the conclusion part.

I felt excited and good because I learnt something different from our normal sort of writing.

Also my thoughts are, why do we need to know about different types of writing? If you know please leave a comment down below and I hope that you learnt something different as well. I really enjoyed learning about EXPLANATION WRITING with my peers and I really hope we all do well with our tests coming up.

Music Lesson Reflection

WALT: explain what a rhythm-tree is.

Today we were learning about what is a rhythm-tree is, what I learnt about the rhythm-tree was what a whole note is called in UK it is called a "Semibreve." and in US it is called as you all know a "Whole note." What I enjoyed about today's lesson was how we could make our beats on a website called Soundtrap to make it sound better and to make it hiep you up. I learnt different things like how to communicate with different people during the learning of Music lessons. I am pride that I learnt something different outside of the classroom and that it is a different subject.

What I found challenging was when we had to make our own beat with a drum kit but with no other instrument. I felt scared and not safe because I thought they will always laugh and put me down.
I really hope you enjoy and hopeful you learnt something different.

Learning With Buddies about Eels

WALT: explain what the meaning of a eel is.

What I am going to blog about today is about our Buddies and ourselves have been learning about what eels eat, where they live and what is their habitat. What my buddy Owyn learnt today about eels was that they eat worms and fish such as freshwater-crayfish, what I learnt today was that eels hide under a lot of different things like rocks, sand, shells that's only if they can fit and also in tiny places such as tiny holes only for the baby eels though.
As we were learning about eels, it was challenging where we had to explain what the meaning to the word amphibians into our own words.

I am learning to rewrite of what I read.

The article I am going to talk about is "I want my mummy": Murder Victim's Daughter Killed.

As I was reading this article I was feeling really bad for the young toddler that wants her other but she doesn't know what happened to her.

As she was crying everyday ever since September 2015 at the age of 3 for her mother, but one day she will hear what her father Lionel Patea murdered her mother for when she is older.

As I read the article I found out that she was murdered because her boyfriend thought she was having affair with someone else. What I really feel about this article is that I feel bad that her daughter has been asking craving, expecting her mother to be next to her but she isn't.

Question: Why do people do things like this? What sort of person does that? Last question: Would they regret murdering them?

!!!😟😢🔎...Motorcyclist Killed in North Shore Crash Yesterday Named...😟😢🔎!!!

😟😢🔎I am learning to write an article with a lot of detail in it.😟😢🔎

What I am going to blog about to today is about a motorcyclist killed Wednesday 1st of March.

The point on this article to me is because of what happened to my aunt's great cousins incident when he was 23 last year. He was in a car crash with another car and the driver from the other car grabbed his knife and started to stab him several times until he stopped breathing, this happened around in the city.

As we are talking about the Motorcyclist and how he died, I really hope you have feelings and read about what my thoughts were and what I wrote down about what happened.

I really hope they find out what happened and hopefully they have done a good job for what happened.

It would be down below just right there.

Motorcyclist Killed Yesterday:

The article I was reading was about a  28 yr old Avondale motorcyclist named Ehue Zhou was killed yesterday which was Wednesday the 1st of March at the time around 11.15am by getting into a car crash.

This crash scene was in North Shore Coronation Rd in Glenfield.

As I read the article Motorcyclist Killed Yesterday Wednesday 1st of March, I found out that it was caused in Auckland’s North Shore and they named Enhe Zhou (Motorcyclist) as the vitium. His died at the scene was on the corner of Coronation and Archers roads in Glenfield, when after the motorbike he was riding and accidently hit a car about 11.15am. The serious crash unit is 🔎investigating🔎 the cause of the motorcycle and car crash, the police spokesperson said that the 🔎investigation🔎 is going to take several weeks to find out with what happened in about the incident.

My thoughts on about this article is that I think that it was the point that it was the motorcyclist’s fault because couldn’t see where he was going and that he couldn’t see anything.

Also my feelings to this article is that it is so bad that I very young man had died so early and hadn’t ended his years probably, but godbless him and may god bless him every single day.

Concept Ideas For Jewellery 2017

WALT: design our concept ideas.

On this sheet on the left I had to design 4 designs on what my client likes and what my client loves which is that same thing, but I done 5. Also as I was drawing and writing down what it is I was thinking of what she actually loves out of all of them 5 items I choose the puppy because she always feeds our dog at home and she always allows her to sleep under her bed. I had enjoyed figuring out what my client likes and what she does, also I had enjoyed the examples of what my technology teacher has showed us for an example.

What I found challenging was trying to figure out what my client enjoys and what she does during her own time.

As I am blogging about our Creek walk With our Reading Buddies.

Today I would like to blog about the Creek Walk With our Buddies.

On Monday the 27th of February my class Rm 9 and our Reading buddy class got ready to go the Dunkirk Creek around the corner of our school. As we reached our destination we were told to be in a line so we could be given our piece of paper to find the objects on what we had to find.

Owyn:  What I liked about the creek was that it was cool because I saw the eel under the rock in the water..
Helen: What I liked about the creek walk was when we were trying to find the objects on our piece of paper.
What I found challenging was to try find the one eel in the water which took me about 10 - 11 minutes to find it in the creek. My buddy Owyn had a lot of fun that which made our day a better day to have a good walk during school time.

As we were finished finding our hidden objects we all had to talk about what we found different that we haven't sawn on the piece of paper. When we finished talking about what we saw different we were all lined up and were ready to get going walking back to school.
