WALT: express the Maori Language with everyone.

Today at school we had a Maori Language Week assembly. At the assembly this morning it was to show each other what the meaning of the Maori Language is about and to share stories. Some of the performances were amazing with everyone singing together and joining in with the classes performances. What I really enjoyed about this Assembly was that the some of the Room 9 students joined in to sing with the younger students performances.

What I didn't like was that it was to loud that I couldn't hear the song that the teacher was singing.
My favorite song that Miss Kyla sang was her own song she made up which is about Matariki and the title of the song is called "Te wa o Matariki."
I really appreciated the way that our school joined in to sing and participate in the games that were played during the assembly.
